How we're paid
A negotiated 5–10% service fee for providers.
Clients receive free consultation and recommendations, plus two free monitoring site visits once work is underway. When a client and a provider agree a contract through Build link Zambia, the provider pays a service fee of 5–10% on the contract value — the exact rate is negotiated with the provider based on the nature and complexity of the work, and it's paid once off at the initial payment. Work should not proceed until the provider has paid the agreed service charge. There are no monthly fees, no lead charges, and nothing on subsequent milestone payments.

What's included before and during work.
Every client who finds a provider through Build link Zambia gets independent guidance and monitoring at no cost — the only client-paid visit is the initial site inspection that gets the provider to your site.
How job initiation works1. Free consultation & recommendations
Discuss your project scope, budget, timeline and provider options with a Build link Zambia consultant at no charge.
2. Initial site visit (paid by client)
The first site visit — used to capture and verify project details — is paid by the client to facilitate movement to site.
3. Two free monitoring site visits
Once work starts, the next two site visits to monitor and control work are free. Additional visits can be arranged at the client's request.
4. Work begins after service fee
Once the client accepts the quote, the provider pays the negotiated 5–10% service fee and work can officially start.
How providers pay the service fee
Mobile money & bank transfer accepted.
Providers can settle the one-off, negotiated 5–10% service fee via any of Zambia's major mobile money networks or by direct bank transfer. Send the payment reference to your Build link Zambia consultant and we'll issue a receipt as soon as it's confirmed.

Always request your official Build link Zambia receipt after paying. Never pay a service fee to an individual's personal account without confirming with your consultant first.
